Collection: Mid MW DNA Ladders-1kb and 100 bp Series
DNA ladders, also known as DNA size markers or molecular weight markers, are standard reference samples used for size estimation, calibration, and normalization in gel electrophoresis. Depending on the molecular weight range, a ladder consists of a set of DNA fragments of known lengths, typically arranged in a ladder-like pattern when visualized on a gel. The fragments are usually in a logarithmic progression, covering a range of sizes. Our mid-range DNA ladders can be used to determine the size of double-stranded DNA spanning 100 base pairs (bp) to 10, 000 bp.
