Collection: Reporter Assays
Reporter assays enable the quantification and visualization of specific cellular processes or molecular events. The assays’ mechanisms involve the use the reporter genes – genes that encode easily detectable proteins or enzymes to monitor the activity of a particular regulatory element or pathway. The expression of the reporter gene is controlled by the regulatory element of interest – allowing researchers to indirectly measure the activity of that element by assessing the level of the reporter gene product.
Our reporter assay kit has high sensitivity, rapid detection, and a wide detection range with direct applications in gene expression analysis, pathway activation and signaling studies, and protein-protein interactions.
