My team specifically requested that I switch to ordering these tubes. Sometimes, 1.5 mL tubes crack or have their lids snap off when being centrifuged - this was never an issue with these tubes; they always hold up. Makes lab-life much easier :)

We go through dozens of PCR samples each week, and typically used to buy PCR tubes from big suppliers. We tried these and the consensus was that they are superior. The lids are slightly textured so it's easy to write on them, and they rarely crack. Would recommend

I have been using this cDNA synthesis kit over the last 6 months. It is very easy to use and the overall cDNA synthesis reaction is very quick compared to kits I have used from other companies (eg. QIAGEN). I performed qPCR using the cDNA products obtained from this reagent compared to other competitor's kits and the results are comparable. HIghly recommend.

I use TRAzol to isolate RNA from cultured adipose stem cells and adipocytes. The kit is easy to use and the resulting RNA quality and yield are excellent, comparable to Invitrogen's Trizol at a much more affordable cost.

Works well for our general PCR work. We are pleased with the results.

Not only is this a great kit for those with extra reagents (or little mistakes in the lab where columns have to be thrown out), but it is an absolute must for some experiments I have been performing where I need to use non-traditional buffers, but don't want to take the columns from the kits that still have reagents left. This is the new standard kit I order for our research lab for isolating plasmids from our E. coli cells. We get high yields, very clean absorbance readings, and I think this is the best elution buffer of any of the kits I've used. Thanks for providing a great Canadian product for us to use at Canadian universities... and more affordable too!

This product comes with a detailed protocol that is easy to follow and gives good results. Cost effective, perfect for beginner.

The protocol is very straightforward and quick and the RNA obtained works well for RT-qPCR.

We are looking for the RNA isolation kit that cheaper than the big brand, and we found this. Very easy to use, good yield, and comparable purity. We want to continue using it.

If your lab runs lots of agarose gels and you want to switch to visualization without EtBr, DyeNA-View is the most affordable option out there. The sensitivity is high, especially if you use twice the recommended volume.

PaCeR is a great polymerase, especially if you have difficult templates to amplify! It works on everything and the yield is usually much higher than our other high fidelity polymerases.

We were previously isolating RNA using multiple acid phenol/chloroform extractions and phase lock tubes. When phase lock tubes were no longer commercially available, the quality of our RNA went downhill. The TRAZOL reagent has been a great success - it is much faster, with just one extraction, and our RNA quality is now better than ever!

I have been very impressed with this column-based kit for RNA isolation. I have been using the kit to isolate RNA from cultured pre-adipocytes and adipocytes that had been previously lysed and stored at -80oC in Lysis reagent (eg. TrAZol). The kit is very easy to use, the protocol is quick, and it does not require the use of other more toxic compounds, such as choloroform, as is required by other kits. I was very happy with my RNA yields, which were comparable to what I've obtained using much more expensive RNA isolation kits from competitors, and more importantly the RNA purity was superior to that obtained in the other kits, as assessed by A260/A280 and A230.

I used TRAzol to isolate RNA from mouse heart tissue. Although the RNA targets I work with are low-abundance and difficult to amplify, the results I got were highly comparable to those obtained using Invitrogen TRIzol.
