Collection: Mate Pair Library Prep Kit
Mate pair library preparation involves the generation of DNA libraries with fragments of a specific size range, usually larger than those produced in standard library preparation methods such as paired-end sequencing. Using our library prep kit, mate pair libraries are able to provide information about the genomic architecture, including the distances between specific genomic regions, in addition to supporting structural variant detection, genome assembly, repeat region resolution, identification of fusion genes, and genomic rearrangement studies.
