DNase Digestion Kit (On Spin Columns) is for removing DNA on spin columns used during RNA isolation procedures. Although these procedures are capable of removing most DNA, small amount of DNA remains. For demanding applications where all DNA must be removed, on-column digestion can be performed. Same as Qiagen RNase free DNase set (Cat# 79254*).

Directly compatible with Qiagen

We use these with the RNeasy Qiagen kits in a QIAcube routinely and they work perfectly as a replacement for the Qiagen DNase kit. We load the final volume of buffer and enzyme that the QIAcube expects, with the ratios on the GeneBio Systems instruction card from the kit. This kit also comes with RW1.

The amount of DNA removed is sufficient for efficient and un-inhibited reverse transcription and selective amplification downstream.
