Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Zebrafish

Applications: IHC

Application Details: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Section), 2-5 μg/ml, Zebrafish

Gene Name: ACOX1

Specificity:

Background: Predicted to enable fatty acid binding activity; flavin adenine dinucleotide binding activity; and palmitoyl-CoA oxidase activity. Predicted to be involved in fatty acid beta-oxidation using acyl-CoA oxidase and very long-chain fatty acid metabolic process. Predicted to act upstream of or within fatty acid beta-oxidation. Predicted to be active in peroxisome. Is expressed in several structures, including female organism; immature eye; liver; pleuroperitoneal region; and subcutaneous fat. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Mitchell syndrome and peroxisomal acyl-CoA oxidase deficiency. Orthologous to human ACOX1 (acyl-CoA oxidase 1).

Immunogen: E.coli-derived Zebrafish ACOX1 recombinant protein (Position: D43-L660).

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
