Specificity:

Background: Myopodin protein, also called Synaptopodin-2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SYNPO2 gene. Myopodin is expressed in cardiac, smooth muscle and skeletal muscle, and localizes to Z-disc structures.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human SYNPO2 recombinant protein (Position: L104-R1009). Human SYNPO2 shares 79.6% and 78.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat SYNPO2, respectively.
