Background: Surfeit locus protein 6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SURF6 gene. This gene encodes a conserved protein that is localized to the nucleolus. The encoded protein may function as a nucleolar-matrix protein with nucleic acid-binding properties. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome Y. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human SURF6 recombinant protein (Position: M1-R216). Human SURF6 shares 62.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse SURF6.
