Gene Name: PPP1R14C
Specificity:
Background: Protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 14C is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PPP1R14C gene. The degree of protein phosphorylation is regulated by a balance of protein kinase and phosphatase activities. Protein phosphatase-1 (PP1; see MIM 176875) is a signal-transducing phosphatase that influences neuronal activity, protein synthesis, metabolism, muscle contraction, and cell division. PPP1R14C is an inhibitor of PP1.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human KEPI/PPP1R14C recombinant protein (Position: H67-V165).
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
