Specificity:

Background: Lysine demethylase 8 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KDM8 gene. This gene likely encodes a histone lysine demethylase. Studies of a similar protein in mouse indicate a potential role for this protein as a tumor suppressor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human KDM8 recombinant protein (Position: D4-D406). Human KDM8 shares 78.1% and 78.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat KDM8, respectively.
