Gene Name: GHRHR
Specificity:
Background: This gene encodes a receptor for growth hormone-releasing hormone. Binding of this hormone to the receptor leads to synthesis and release of growth hormone. Mutations in this gene have been associated with isolated growth hormone deficiency (IGHD), also known as Dwarfism of Sindh, a disorder characterized by short stature.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human GHRHR recombinant protein (Position: H23-K407). Human GHRHR shares 84.8% and 85.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat GHRHR, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
