Gene Name: FN1

Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Background: Fibronectin, a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and in extracellular matrix. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. Cellular fibronectin is a 550KDa glycoprotein existing as two heterodimers, different from plasma fibronectin in the presence of additional polypeptide segments and in altering morphology of transformed cells and hemaglutination.

Immunogen: Fibronectin from human plasma.

Clonality: Monoclonal

Contents: Mouse IgG in stabilizing components, 1.2% sodium acetate and 0.01mg NaN3. *This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation.
Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used.
For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.

Purification: Ascites

Reconstitution: Add 1ml of PBS buffer will yield a concentration of 100ug/ml.
