Gene Name: EIF3A

Specificity:

Background: Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit A (eIF3a) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EIF3A gene. Enables RNA binding activity. Contributes to translation initiation factor activity. Involved in IRES-dependent viral translational initiation; formation of cytoplasmic translation initiation complex; and viral translational termination-reinitiation. Located in cytosol; nucleolus; and nucleoplasm. Part of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 complex.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human EIF3A recombinant protein (Position: K13-H477).

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
