Gene Name: KRT14

Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Background: Cytokeratin 14, also known as cytokeratin-14 (CK-14) or keratin-14 (KRT14), is a member of the type I keratin family of intermediate filament proteins. In humans it is encoded by the KRT14 gene. This gene product, a type I keratin, is usually found as a heterotetramer with two keratin 5 molecules, a type II keratin. Mutations in the genes for these keratins are associated with epidermolysis bullosa simplex. At least one pseudogene has been identified at 17p12-p11.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human Cytokeratin 14, identical to the related mouse and rat sequences.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains antibody formulated with stabilizing components, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, and 0.05 mg NaN3.
*This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation.
Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used.
For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
