Gene Name: ARL3
Specificity:
Background: ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ARL3 gene. Enables GDP binding activity; GTP binding activity; and microtubule binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cilium assembly; protein localization to cilium; and small GTPase mediated signal transduction. Acts upstream of or within post-Golgi vesicle-mediated transport. Located in several cellular components, including microtubule cytoskeleton; midbody; and photoreceptor connecting cilium. Implicated in Joubert syndrome and retinitis pigmentosa 83.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human ARL3, identical to the related mouse and rat sequences.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
