Background:γ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor β3 subunit (GABRB3) is a candidate gene for autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Alteration in the gene results in increased tactile sensitivity, or hypersensitivity.Overexpression of GABRB3 might be implicated in the pathogenesis of heroin dependence. Aberration or mutation of this gene leads to neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Angelman syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome and schizophrenia.[1][3] GABRB3 polymorphisms results in nonsyndromic cleft lip and/or palate (NSCL/P).

Concentration:

Activity:Not validated for activity

Sequence:Ser 26-Tyr 245

Purity: > 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

Formulation:Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5%-8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.

Reconstitution:It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.

Endotoxin:< 10 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
