MW: 41.5 kDa

Purity: The purity information is not available for VLPs proteins.

Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU/μg as determined by LAL method.

Biological_Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CXCR4 at 10 μg/mL can bind Anti-CXCR4 recombinant antibody (CSB-RA006254MA01HU), the EC50 is 101.7-253.6 ng/mL.

Form: Lyophilized powder

Buffer: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm sterile filtered PBS, 6% Trehalose, pH 7.4.

Reconstitution: We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein indeionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.Aliquot for long-term storage at -80℃. Solubilize for 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Avoid vigorous shaking or vortexing.

Storage: The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20℃/-80℃. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20℃/-80℃.

Notes: The VLPs are expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293).Mix the sample gently by repeatedly pipetting it up and down. Do not vortex.Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended.Store the protein at -20℃/-80℃ upon receiving it, and ensure to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, otherwise, it will affect the protein activity. The immunization strategy should be optimized (antigen dose, regimen and adjuvant).

Relevance: Receptor for the C-X-C chemokine CXCL12/SDF-1 that transduces a signal by increasing intracellular calcium ion levels and enhancing MAPK1/MAPK3 activation . Involved in the AKT signaling cascade . Plays a role in regulation of cell migration, e.g. during wound healing . Acts as a receptor for extracellular ubiquitin; leading to enhanced intracellular calcium ions and reduced cellular cAMP levels . Binds bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) et mediates LPS-induced inflammatory response, including TNF secretion by monocytes . Involved in hematopoiesis and in cardiac ventricular septum formation. Also plays an essential role in vascularization of the gastrointestinal tract, probably by regulating vascular branching and/or remodeling processes in endothelial cells. Involved in cerebellar development. In the CNS, could mediate hippocampal-neuron survival. (Microbial infection) Acts as a coreceptor (CD4 being the primary receptor) for human immunodeficiency virus-1/HIV-1 X4 isolates and as a primary receptor for some HIV-2 isolates. Promotes Env-mediated fusion of the virus .
