Background:Involved in EGFR trafficking, acting as negative regulator of endocytic EGFR internalization at the plasma membrane.Expressed in the brain, heart, liver, skeletal muscle, pancreas and placenta. Isoform 1 is predominant in the brain and spinal cord. Isoform 4 is more abundant in the cerebellum. In the brain, broadly expressed in the amygdala, caudate nucleus, corpus callosum, hippocampus, hypothalamus, substantia nigra, subthalamic nucleus and thalamus.

Concentration:

Activity:Not validated for activity

Sequence:Leu 460-Ser 600

Purity: > 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

Formulation:Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5%-8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.

Reconstitution:It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.

Endotoxin:< 10 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
