Product Type:Polyclonal Antibody

Immunogen Species:Homo sapiens (Human)

UniProt ID:P20645

Immunogen:Recombinant Human Cation-dependent mannose-6-phosphate receptor protein (1-277AA)

Raised in:Rabbit

Species Reactivity:Human

Tested Applications:ELISA, IHC, IF; Recommended dilution: IHC:1:20-1:200, IF:1:50-1:200

Background:Transport of phosphorylated lysosomal enzymes from the Golgi complex and the cell surface to lysosomes. Lysosomal enzymes bearing phosphomannosyl residues bind specifically to mannose-6-phosphate receptors in the Golgi apparatus and the resulting receptor-ligand complex is transported to an acidic prelyosomal compartment where the low pH mediates the dissociation of the complex.
