Gene Name: FOXC1A
Specificity:
Background: Enables chromatin binding activity. Acts upstream of or within with a positive effect on vascular associated smooth muscle cell differentiation. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including determination of left/right symmetry; glomerulus development; and regulation of signal transduction. Predicted to be located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including head; mesenchyme; mesoderm; trunk; and vasculature. Used to study Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome; Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome type 3; anterior segment dysgenesis 3; and glaucoma. Orthologous to human FOXC1 (forkhead box C1).
Immunogen: E.coli-derived Zebrafish FOXC1A recombinant protein (Position: P38-F476).
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
