Specificity:

Background: Afadin- and alpha-actinin-binding protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SSX2IP gene. This gene encodes a protein that binds the cancer-testis antigen Synovial Sarcoma X breakpoint 2 protein. The encoded protein may regulate the activity of Synovial Sarcoma X breakpoint 2 protein in malignant cells. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 3.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human SSX2IP recombinant protein (Position: K27-P614). Human SSX2IP shares 87.9% and 87.4% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat SSX2IP, respectively.
