Background: Iroquois-class homeodomain protein IRX-1, also known as Iroquois homeobox protein 1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IRX1 gene. This gene encodes a member of the Iroquois homeobox protein family. Homeobox genes in this family are involved in pattern formation in the embryo. The gene product has been identified as a tumor suppressor in gastric and head and neck cancers. A pseudogene of this gene is located on chromosome 13.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human IRX1 recombinant protein (Position: Q95-A480). Human IRX1 shares 89.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse IRX1.
