Applications: WB,ELISA

Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Rat
ELISA, 0.1-0.5 μg/ml, -

Gene Name: ICMT

Specificity:

Background: Protein-S-isoprenylcysteine O-methyltransferase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ICMT gene. This gene encodes the third of three enzymes that posttranslationally modify isoprenylated C-terminal cysteine residues in certain proteins and target those proteins to the cell membrane. This enzyme localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. Alternative splicing may result in other transcript variants, but the biological validity of those transcripts has not been determined.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human ICMT recombinant protein (Position: E13-L284). Human ICMT shares 96.3% and 95.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat ICMT, respectively.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
