Gene Name: HAO2
Specificity:
Background: This gene is one of three related genes that have 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity. The encoded protein localizes to the peroxisome has the highest activity toward the substrate 2-hydroxypalmitate. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human HAO2 recombinant protein (Position: R50-L351). Human HAO2 shares 71.1% and 73.7% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat HAO2, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
