Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Mouse

Applications: WB,Flow Cytometry

Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Mouse
Flow Cytometry (Fixed), 1-3 μg/1x106 cells, Mouse

Gene Name: GP6

Specificity:

Background: Enables collagen binding activity and collagen receptor activity. Acts upstream of or within collagen-activated tyrosine kinase receptor signaling pathway; peptidyl-tyrosine phosphorylation; and platelet aggregation. Located in cell surface and plasma membrane. Is expressed in bone marrow; femur; liver; and spleen. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in blood platelet disease (multiple); coronary artery disease (multiple); and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Orthologous to human GP6 (glycoprotein VI platelet).

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of mouse GP6. Mouse GP6 shares 75% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with human GP6.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
