Gene Name: GLIPR2
Specificity:
Background: The GLIPR2 gene, also known as Golgi-associated plant pathogenesis-related protein 2, encodes a protein localized to the Golgi apparatus and involved in diverse cellular processes, including apoptosis, autophagy, and vesicular trafficking. GLIPR2 has been implicated in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival, with potential roles in cancer development and progression. Additionally, GLIPR2 expression has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders and inflammatory responses. Its precise molecular functions and downstream signaling pathways are still being elucidated, but it represents a promising target for therapeutic interventions in various diseases. Understanding the biological significance of GLIPR2 is essential for deciphering its role in cellular homeostasis and disease pathogenesis.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human GLIPR2 recombinant protein (Position: M1-K154). Human GLIPR2 shares 93.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse GLIPR2.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
