Background: Bromodomain-containing protein 9 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BRD9 gene. Enables lysine-acetylated histone binding activity. Predicted to be involved in regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleoplasm. Part of SWI/SNF complex.
