Gene Name: ATP4B
Specificity:
Background: This gene encodes the beta subunit of the gastric H+, K+-ATPase. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a family of P-type cation-transporting ATPases. The gastric H+, K+-ATPase is a heterodimer consisting of a high molecular weight catalytic alpha subunit and a smaller but heavily glycosylated beta subunit. This enzyme is a proton pump that catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of H(+) and K(+) ions across the plasma membrane. It is also responsible for gastric acid secretion.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human ATP4B recombinant protein (Position: Y60-D277). Human ATP4B shares 82.8% and 80.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat ATP4B, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
