Gene Name: AP2B1
Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Background: AP-2 complex subunit beta is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AP2B1 gene. It is mapped to 17q12. The protein encoded by this gene is one of two large chain components of the assembly protein complex 2, which serves to link clathrin to receptors in coated vesicles. The encoded protein is found on the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles in the plasma membrane. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: E. coli-derived human AP2B1 recombinant protein (Position: Q311-R522). Human AP2B1 shares 100% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with both mouse and rat AP2B1.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains antibody formulated with stabilizing components, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, and 0.05 mg NaN3.
*This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation.
Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used.
For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
