Gene Name: SARS1
Specificity:
Background: Enables serine-tRNA ligase activity. Involved in negative regulation of sprouting angiogenesis; negative regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor production; and seryl-tRNA aminoacylation. Acts upstream of or within branching involved in blood vessel morphogenesis; cerebellum vasculature development; and regulation of angiogenesis. Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including brain; digestive system; eye; immature eye; and musculature system. Used to study arteriovenous malformations of the brain. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in intellectual disability. Orthologous to human SARS1 (seryl-tRNA synthetase 1).
Immunogen: E.coli-derived zebrafish SARS1 recombinant protein (Position: R133-K483).
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
