Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Human,Mouse

Applications: WB

Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5μg/ml, Human, Mouse

Gene Name: RAG1

Specificity:

Background: Recombination activating gene 1 also known as RAG-1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RAG1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in activation of immunoglobulin V-D-J recombination. The encoded protein is involved in recognition of the DNA substrate, but stable binding and cleavage activity also requires RAG2. Defects in this gene can be the cause of several diseases.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human RAG1, identical to the related mouse and rat sequences.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl and 0.2mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
