Specificity:

Background: Putative Phospholipase B-like (PLBD2) is a 585 amino acids lipoprotein lipase (LPL) encoded by the or Plbd2 gene. PLBD2 is considered a difficult-to-remove Host Cell Protein (HCP) from Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells derived therapeutic antibodies. Some HCPs could cause immunogenic responses in patients if not removed.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human PLBD2 recombinant protein (Position: Q108-Q525). Human PLBD2 shares 88% and 87.1% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat PLBD2, respectively.
