Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Human,Mouse

Applications: WB

Application Details: Western blot, 0.1-0.5μg/ml, Human, Mouse

Gene Name: PLD1

Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Background: By somatic cell hybrid analysis, PLD1 is mapped to 3q26.31. This gene encodes a phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase which catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine in order to yield phosphatidic acid and choline. The enzyme may play a role in signal transduction and subcellular trafficking. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants with both catalytic and regulatory properties. And PLD1 disrupted association of gamma-secretase protein components, independent of PLD1catalytic activity. What's more, PLD1 regulates intracellular trafficking of beta-amyloid, distinct from its effect on gamma-secretase activity.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human PLD1 recombinant protein (Position: M1-H330). Human PLD1 shares 91.8% and 90.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat PLD1, respectively.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
