Form: Lyophilized
Reactivity: Human
Applications: IHC
Application Details: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Section), 1-2μg/ml, Human
Gene Name: MB
Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Background: Human myoglobin has 152 residues. Two myoglobin variants were found. The myoglobin locus mapped to 22q11-22q13. The myoglobin gene is about 10.5 kb long and contains two introns as in the case with hemoglobin genes. Myoglobin may serve a variety of functions in muscular oxygen supply, such as O (2) storage, facilitated O (2) diffusion, and myoglobin-mediated oxidative phosphorylation.
Immunogen: Purified human skeletal muscle myoglobin.
Clonality: Monoclonal
Contents: Mouse IgG in stabilizing components, 1.2% sodium acetate and 0.01mg NaN3.
*This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation.
Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used.
For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.
Purification: Ascites
Reconstitution: Add 1ml of PBS buffer will yield a concentration of 100ug/ml.
