Gene Name: TMPRSS6
Specificity:
Background: Transmembrane protease, serine 6 (also known as matriptase-2) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TMPRSS6 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a type II transmembrane serine proteinase that is found attached to the cell surface. The encoded protein may be involved in matrix remodeling processes in the liver. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human Matriptase 2/TMPRSS6 recombinant protein (Position: M1-Q759).
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
