Gene Name: DAP
Specificity:
Background: Death-associated protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the DAP gene. This gene encodes a basic, proline-rich, 15-kD protein. The protein acts as a positive mediator of programmed cell death that is induced by interferon-gamma. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human DAP1/DAP, which shares 92.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with both mouse and rat DAP1/DAP.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
