Applications: WB
Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Mouse, Rat
Gene Name: CALM1/2/3
Specificity:
Background: This gene encodes one of three calmodulin proteins which are members of the EF-hand calcium-binding protein family. Calcium-induced activation of calmodulin regulates and modulates the function of cardiac ion channels. Two pseudogenes have been identified on chromosome 7 and X. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.A missense mutation in the CALM1 gene has been associated with ventricular tachycardia.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human Calmodulin/CALM 1/2/3.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
