TransSup^® ITS Supplement (100×) contains three most universally essential components: human insulin, human holo-transferrin, and selenous acid. Among them, human insulin and human holo-transferrin are recombinant proteins, non-plasma sources, which can avoid the risk of contamination from human viruses and mycoplasma. TransSup^® ITS Supplement (100×) could decrease the serum requirement of many cell types, support serum-free or low-serum culture. It is recommended for use in the in vitro differentiation of embryonic stem cells, such as differentiation to neural or pancreatic-like cell types.
