Background:The CRTAM gene is upregulated in CD4 (see MIM 186940)-positive and CD8 (see CD8A, MIM 186910)-positive T cells and encodes a type I transmembrane protein with V and C1-like Ig domains. Interaction with CADM1 promotes natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity and interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) secretion by CD8+ cells in vitro as well as NK cell-mediated rejection of tumors expressing CADM3 in vivo.
Concentration:
Activity:Not validated for activity
Sequence:Ser18-Gly287
Purity: > 90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation:Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with 5% Trehalose and 5% Mannitol.
Reconstitution:It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Endotoxin:< 1.0 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Calculated MW:29.5 kDa
ObservedMW:55-65 kDa
