Background:

Test Principle:MitoBright Red Probe is a lipophilic, cationic fluorescent dye for labeling mitochondria in living cells with a mild sulfhydryl-responsive chloromethyl functional group that covalently reacts with sulfhydryl groups on proteins and polypeptides in the mitochondrial matrix to form a thioester bond, which aggregates within the mitochondria.
