Flow Cytometry (Fixed), 1-3 μg/1x106 cells, Human

Gene Name: WIPF1

Specificity:

Background: WAS/WASL-interacting protein (WIP) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the WIPF1 gene. This gene encodes a protein that plays an important role in the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. The encoded protein binds to a region of Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein that is frequently mutated in Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, an X-linked recessive disorder. Impairment of the interaction between these two proteins may contribute to the disease. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human WIPF1, which shares 95% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat WIPF1.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
