Gene Name: GPRC5A

Specificity:

Background: This gene encodes a member of the type 3 G protein-coupling receptor family, characterized by the signature 7-transmembrane domain motif. The encoded protein may be involved in interaction between retinoid acid and G protein signalling pathways. Retinoic acid plays a critical role in development, cellular growth, and differentiation. This gene may play a role in embryonic development and epithelial cell differentiation.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence in the middle region of human RAI3/GPRC5A. Human RAI3/GPRC5A shares 95.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse RAI3/GPRC5A.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
