Gene Name: NNMT
Specificity:
Background: Nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the NNMT gene. N-methylation is one method by which drug and other xenobiotic compounds are metabolized by the liver. This gene encodes the protein responsible for this enzymatic activity which uses S-adenosyl methionine as the methyl donor.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human NNMT recombinant protein (Position: K8-L264). Human NNMT shares 85.1% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse NNMT.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
