Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Mouse,Rat

Applications: WB

Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Mouse, Rat

Gene Name: NEU2

Specificity:

Background: Enables exo-alpha-sialidase activity. Involved in ganglioside catabolic process and oligosaccharide catabolic process. Predicted to be located in cytosol. Predicted to be part of catalytic complex. Predicted to be active in lysosome and membrane. Is expressed in brain. Orthologous to human NEU2 (neuraminidase 2).

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of mouse NEU2. Human NEU2 shares 82.4% and 82.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with human and rat NEU2, respectively.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
