Gene Name: MYH14
Specificity:
Background: Myosin-14 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MYH14 gene. This gene encodes a member of the myosin superfamily. The protein represents a conventional non-muscle myosin; it should not be confused with the unconventional myosin-14 (MYO14). Myosins are actin-dependent motor proteins with diverse functions including regulation of cytokinesis, cell motility, and cell polarity. Mutations in this gene result in one form of autosomal dominant hearing impairment. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human MYH14 recombinant protein (Position: M1-R1895). Human MYH14 shares 92.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse MYH14.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
