Gene Name: MTAP

Specificity:

Background: This gene encodes an enzyme that plays a major role in polyamine metabolism and is important for the salvage pathway of both adenine and methionine. The encoded enzyme is deficient in many cancers. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human MTAP recombinant protein (Position: E31-H283).

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
