Specificity:

Background: LZIC is closely related to ICAT, a physiological inhibitor ofthe Wnt pathway that interacts physically and functionally withβ-catenin to prevent the transcription ofWnt target genes. LZIC'sICAT-homologousregion is highly similarto ICAT with particular conservation ofresiduesthat are used by ICAT forβ-catenin-binding. LZIC does not interactwithβ-catenin in vitro orin vivo. LZIC is a protein conserved in vertebrates, isrequired for neuronal survival.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human IMPG2 recombinant protein (Position: R81-R1080). Human IMPG2 shares 70.8% and 72% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat IMPG2, respectively.
