Specificity:

Background: The protein encoded by this gene is found in both mitochondria and the nucleus, where it binds cysteine desulfurase and helps free inorganic sulfur for Fe/S clusters. Disruption of this gene negatively impacts mitochondrial and cytosolic iron homeostasis.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human LYRM4 recombinant protein (Position: M1-T91). Human LYRM4 shares 89% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse LYRM4.
