Gene Name: INTU
Specificity:
Background: INTU plays a key role in ciliogenesis and embryonic development. INTU is a regulator of cilia formation by controlling the organization of the apical actin cytoskeleton and the positioning of the basal bodies at the apical cell surface, which in turn is essential for the normal orientation of elongating ciliary microtubules. It plays a key role in definition of cell polarity via its role in ciliogenesis but not via conversion extension and has an in effect on hedgehog signaling.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human INTU recombinant protein (Position: Q224-K935). Human INTU shares 80.5% and 79.8% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat INTU, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
