Gene Name: ING2

Specificity:

Background: Inhibitor of growth protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ING2 gene. This gene is a member of the inhibitor of growth (ING) family. Members of the ING family associate with and modulate the activity of histone acetyltransferase (HAT) and histone deacetylase (HDAC) complexes and function in DNA repair and apoptosis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human ING2 recombinant protein (Position: Q6-K181). Human ING2 shares 96.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse ING2.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
